It is my honor and privilege to welcome all of you to China Spring ISD. We are a growing school district that takes pride in having excellent academic traditions as well as offering outstanding extra-curricular programs to the students of China Spring. If you and your family are looking for a school district with these attributes, you have hit the jackpot.
Our faculty and staff are like no other in Central Texas. The loving and caring attitudes they exude are contagious. The strong academics they provide are unmatched in our area and they prepare our students well for life after high school. We have a very large number of students who advance their education at the collegiate level and who go on to accomplish so many great things. All of this starts with an excellent K-12 education.
The programs we offer our students are top notch and we have a variety of them to make sure each student can find their niche. We offer all of the traditional programs such as band, music, theatre, FFA, and athletics as well as some unique offerings such as Science Fair, Cougars in Action, National Junior Honor Society and dance. If you look hard enough, you will find the student group that really works for you.
The support our school system receives from our parents and our community are exceptional and a huge reason for our success as a school district. They support our students in so many ways including being our biggest cheerleaders to excellent financial support through the China Spring ISD Education Foundation. The Education Foundation has given as much as $40,000 back to our schoolteachers each year for innovative teacher grants as well as to students for scholarships to continue their education. The countless volunteer hours our parents and community members give to CSISD and our students are priceless. We certainly would not be where we are today without their support.
Our school board members are all extremely dedicated and they place such a high value on a student’s education. They give countless hours of volunteer time to support all of our district endeavors. They work extremely hard to make sure all of our programs have the financial support needed to flourish. Our facilities are first class which gives our students, parents, and our community great pride in our school district. The school spirit and community pride are evident in everyone that “Bleeds Cougar Blue” and it is contagious!
