Convocation is an annual event bringing together faculty and staff across the district to prepare for the upcoming year. Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Kristen Dutschmann, and her team are responsible for planning and organizing the entire event. Dutschmann describes Convocation as, “Our opening ceremonies to kick off the school year! Our goal is to greet our faculty and staff with enthusiasm to start the year on a fun note!” Occurring Monday, July 31, Convocation is a full-day, offering professional development sessions and announcing the district theme for the upcoming year.
The 2023-2024 district theme is, “spreading the good vibes.” “China Spring ISD is an amazing school district with incredible staff and students who do incredible things on a daily basis,” notes Dutschmann. The faculty and staff at China Spring are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of China Spring students. Working to offer unique educational experiences to students across all six campuses. “We want to be a school district that is spreading the good vibes to our students, faculty, staff, parents and community!
