China Spring ISD elementary educator, Sarah Stubbs, has earned the prestigious National Board Certification, recognized as the gold standard in teaching excellence. This marks a continued tradition of excellence for the district, which celebrated its first National Board Certified Teacher, Amy Gregory, just last year. Sarah’s accomplishment is a testament to her dedication to teaching and her commitment to providing exceptional learning experiences for students.
The National Board Certification, offered by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS), is a rigorous, peer-reviewed process that focuses on elevating teaching practices and improving student outcomes.
“This achievement is a reflection of the incredible talent we have right here in our district,” said Assistant Superintendent Dr. Leslie Smith. “The National Board Certification process is challenging, and it shows just how committed our educators are to going above and beyond to give our students quality learning experiences.”
The certification process includes extensive self-reflection, portfolio submissions, and assessments designed to measure educators’ impact on student learning.
